What is a Public Insurance Adjuster?
There are three types of insurance adjusters licensed by the State of California:
Company Adjuster - is employed by the Insurance Company to represent the company in dealing with your loss and damages. The primary responsibility of Company Adjusters is to protect the interests of the Insurance Company.
Independent Adjuster - is hired by the Insurance Company to represent the company in dealing with your loss and damages. The main duty of Independent Adjusters is to protect the interests of the Insurance Company.
Public Adjuster - A Public Insurance Adjuster is the only professional specifically licensed by the State of California to represent the Insured. It is the Public Adjuster's responsibility to process the claim and support the insured's interests when filing a loss with the Insurance Company.
